Three Bears Brewery & Restaurant in Banff was a fantastic experience! Despite being busy, the atmosphere was relaxed and never rushed. Our server was incredibly accommodating with our allergies and dietary preferences, making sure we had a great meal. We arrived just before the 5 PM cutoff for fish & chips, and our server quickly put in the order so we didn’t miss out—so appreciated! The fish was fresh, crispy, and paired perfectly with their homemade tartar sauce. For our main, we shared a burger with waffle fries, which was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a great outdoor seating area with fireplaces, but we opted to sit inside, where they were playing old skiing videos on the TVs—a fun touch! Highly recommend for great food, a chill vibe, and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!

We had had enough hiking. Time to drink beers and eat too many calories. Three Bears was a great resource for our pressing needs. The beer flight was a pleasant journey through the many varied drafts available. To me, IPAs will always taste like the gym rope we had to climb in the third grade, but the other brews were a delight. I could go back for another pint of the copper ale, boysenberry wheat, or brown ale. The flavors were dynamic with distinct things happening early and late with each sip. Strongly recommend. Next we took on the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and big kahuna pizza. The sandwich was a well-constructed, two-patty affair that didn’t feel too heavy yet packed enough heat to carry the spicy moniker. The pizza was a valiant effort. I appreciate the special 72 hour ferment they do for the crust to give it a more mature sourdough flavor. However, the pizza thrower was a little heavy-handed with the cheese, and so the pie ended up moist and floppy, no crisp to each bite. If you’re going to put all that love into the dough, you gotta get the bake right. For a brewery pizza, I’ll let it slide. Overall an epic meal. Worth the stop if you need an emergency brewery experience.

We visited Three Bears Brewery over the May long weekend looking for some cozy comfort food on a rainy day, and it did not disappoint! We booked our reservation through OpenTable, which was super convenient and made the whole experience smooth from the start. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming — I especially loved the rustic decor and the sunroof on the top floor, which gave the space a bright, open feel even with the gloomy weather. The vibe was fun and relaxed, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Our server was fantastic and took the time to answer all of our questions, which we really appreciated. My husband was excited to try the infuser tap (a fun touch!), and he ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich — not overly spicy, but just the right amount of heat. I had the mac and cheese, and his friend ordered the mushroom pizza. All of the portions were generous, and we ended up taking some back to the hotel for a delicious midnight snack. Great food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere — we’ll definitely be back!

There are cute bear decorations both inside and outside the store. The staff were very kind and patient, especially helpful since it was our first time visiting. I ordered a few dishes to share with my friends. The bison ribs, recommended by the staff, were delicious and paired really well with wine. The crust of the peeled pizza was also very tasty, with a nice charcoal-roasted flavor. It’s worth mentioning that the beer was excellent. Also, the bathroom was very clean — a big plus!

The views were breathtaking! The waiter was warm, attentive, and made the experience even better. The washrooms were spotless throughout my visit. I ordered a Moscow Mule, and it was perfectly balanced—refreshing with just the right kick of ginger. My first course was a crisp, well-dressed salad that was fresh and flavorful. For the main meal, I had glazed chicken with potatoes and vegetables. The chicken was tender and juicy, coated in a rich, slightly sweet glaze. The potatoes were soft on the inside, with a slight crisp on the outside, and the vegetables were cooked to a perfect crunch. I’d definitely return for both the food and the atmosphere!

The place is very lovely, could work for anything (date, friends, family). The menu is ample enough for anyone to chose from. We booked it ahead and ended up being our first dinner as an engaged couple. The server and staff were lovely. Provided recommendations for drinks, food and pairings. If you like strong flavour the bison ribs could be great, just pair it with something fresh like a salad. Amazing option of beers.

Second time here after 2 years, and it’s still excellent! The food is top-notch and the Bears beer flight is awesome. It’s a bit pricey, but the portions are big — totally worth it. I had a gigantic fried chicken burger with waffle fries and a flight of their 6 best beers. Delicious all around!

The food here was pretty good, a bit on the pricey side. We ordered the French onion soup, the wings and the mac n cheese. I really enjoyed the wings, they had so much flavor and the French onion soup hit the spot on the rainy day that we went. The mac n cheese was not bad, but a bit on the mild side for flavor. Service was great, all the staff were super friendly and there was plenty of outdoor seating so we could sit with our dog.
